Amazon (AU) crap

Is anyone selling on Amazon in Australia? I (really) need help with ... them!
They literally have the worst support ever
ο»Ώ ο»Ώ
I had so many problems I could write a book, but the worst part is that we just wanted to test the FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) and then do it in the US.
So now I'm just wondering, is it also that bad in the US or is it just because it's new in Australia?Β

Some examples of frustrating problems:
  • no clear difference between the individual plan and professional plan apart from payment per item sold versus subscription (but in fact there are many more fees, all unclear until everything is running) - after doing you realise the individual plan is useless because most of the features aren't available and can't even sell under a brand
  • some products can't be sold (like a USB cable) but it requires 5 contacts with the support to be toldΒ
  • I'm currently locked out of my seller account (probably) because my personal account was put on hold (same email) because a scammer accessed it. Even though the situation was resolved in hours and I was refunded by the bank in days, they realised after a month that the products weren't paid and blocked my account
    • Fun fact, I received 4 presents from the scammer πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
    • I told them twice I could send them back, but they didn't care
    • On this particular issue there might be some email problem, I didn't receive some emails but I keep receiving many othersΒ

And I'm not even talking about trademark, brand, or GTIN stuff (even tried the forum) ... basically avoid Amazon AU, not start-up friendly πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ

Online fundraising!

πŸŽ–οΈ βš™οΈ
These days it shouldn't be surprising that we can find investors and raise money online. Even though, there isn't one go-to platform, nor a simple process.
Examples: https://blog.usejournal.com/top-10-best-online-platforms-to-find-an-investor-for-your-startup-b7c1ac38a5b7

Does anyone have experience with anything like this? 😊
Does anyone know anyone who went through either online investor's meetups, or equity crowdfunding?Β
On paper it sounds good, but the lack of reliable data makes it seem almost dodgy πŸ˜…

Looking for hand experts

πŸŽ–οΈ βš™οΈ
Currently interviewing hand therapists, OTs, clinicians who focus on hand paralysis. I'd love intros or recommendations.
Not looking for surgeons though, it's not about wounds but bout injuries that leave people paralysed.
We made a group to share about this space, feel free to join: facebook.com/groups/assistivehands

Thanks in advance πŸ€—
